Hearty meat, healthy vegetables, and creamy sweet potatoes combine to make a comforting dish for your pup. Serve up a slice of this canine-friendly shepherd's pie to pamper your pup with a delectable treat.
Ingredients
1 medium sweet potato
¼ cup frozen peas
¼ cup diced carrots
¼ cup cooked ground beef
Dog is Human multivitamin
Directions
In a large pot, boil the sweet potato until tender about 35 minutes.
Remove from pot and let cool. Once cooled, peel the skin off and in a bowl mash the potato until a smooth consistency is formed.
In a medium pan, add the frozen peas, carrots, and ground beef until fully cooked.
Add a layer of the vegetable and meat mixture into a small ramekin and top with a layer of the mashed sweet potato.
Finally, add a Dog is Human multivitamin to top it off.
