Treat your furry friend to a festive snack with these delightful candy cane-inspired treats! Made with apple sauce, beet root powder, and more…these treats are fun & tasty!
Ingredients
3 cups oat flour
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
Dog is Human Multivitamins (crumbled)
2 eggs
Beetroot powder
Directions
In a bowl, combine the oat flour, applesauce, and Dog is Human multivitamins. Mix until combined.
Add 2 eggs, and mix until fully incorporated and dough is formed.
Divide the dough into two equal portions. Color one portion red by mixing in the beet root powder.
Roll the uncolored dough into a thin log, and set aside. Next, roll the red dough into a thin log in similar shape and size.
Twist the uncolored and red logs together, and shape them into a candy cane. Repeat with the remaining dough to make additional candy canes.
Bake at 350°F for 12–16 minutes.
Let cool before serving. Enjoy!
